The Perfecta ESAM5500.T is the ultimate bean-to-cup coffee machine for people who are serious about coffee. It features the De'Longhi single-touch system, giving you the ability to make fresh espresso and lungo at professional 15 bar pump pressure at just the touch of a button. The bean-to-cup system grinds a fresh portion of coffee beans for each cup via the built-in professional-quality burr grinder, with seven adjustable coarseness levels, ensuring the ultimate fresh coffee experience every time. Personal coffee preferences, such as length, strength and temperature, can be tailored to suit every taste. This model includes a De'Longhi patented single-touch milk carafe that plugs into the front of the machine to froth fresh milk for cappuccino and latte, also at the touch of a button. The double boiler system dedicates one boiler exclusively to espresso and the other to steam. In addition, the innovative milk carafe can be steam-cleaned at the touch of a button and removed to store in the fridge, ready for the next coffee. The Perfecta features an easy-tronic digital control panel with a stylish design, sleek illuminated icon display and rotating control dial. The quantities of water and coffee can be adjusted to ensure an individually tailored cup of coffee, while the electronic temperature control can be used to set your coffee from piping hot to medium temperature. The adjustable height of the coffee dispenser allows the Perfecta to accommodate either full- or espresso-size cups. The machine also has an active cup warmer, as well as automatic shut-off after a pre-set time has elapsed.
